Recently, my wife and I attended a gathering of people who were involved in the Japanese Canadian Legacies Society Intergenerational Wellness grants program of which this website was a product. A study about the thoughts and reflections from the Family Sharing and Healing grant recipients was led by Lucy Komori. It was she who conducted an online interview with me last October and it was nice to meet her in person at this event. Lucy and the others had a lot of thoughtful and interesting information to share. I was worried that I would have no one to talk to but I was so pleased to chat with many other like-minded people.

The study examined the geographic location and generational backgrounds of the interviewees, as well as the type of project undertaken. Then qualitative aneccdotal feedback was obtained through interviews with the subjects. The results were published in a well-organized and designed booklet. Many quotes are published in this report including a few of mine.
