Alpine Inn Residents During WWII

I have recently added a spreadsheet to this site that I have been working on intermittently for the past two years. It lists all the residents I could find who lived at Alpine Inn, a self-supporting site located at Christina Lake, BC, during WWII. Thanks to Kathleen Smythe and Nobby Hamagami who did the majority of the work in compiling the original list of names. I have used their list to start and added additional names and information. Much of the information was verified from the information listed in the Landscapes of Injustice Database.

I had a column named “Repatriated to Japan” based on information from the Ledger of Japanese Canadian Repatriates found in the Library and Archives of Canada. A more accurate title might be the Ledger of Japanese Canadians Exiled to Japan. However, I deleted the column because there were many errors in this ledger. Many people listed in this ledger did not, in the end, move to Japan.
